Many Pennsylvania residents know that authorities cannot illegally search a person or their belongings and property. If they do, any evidence that is found may be inadmissible in court. In many cases this is true, but there are some exceptions.
A Pennsylvania man who pleaded guilty to multiple drug-related charges was sentenced to a maximum of 23 months in jail on May 30. The man, age 42, was convicted on charges that stemmed from a 2011 incident when he was taken into custody for attempting to distribute 223 pounds of marijuana found in a tractor trailer.
