A number of potential clients often inquire about the expungement process.  A person may expunge his criminal history in a number of situations.  This entry will deal specifically with those potential clients who have been previously convicted of the summary offense of underage drinking.  

The expungement process for the summary offense of underage drinking differs in the expungement process for all other summary offenses.

To expunge underage summary offenses:

The petitioner must be at least 21 years of age at the time he is petitioning to expunge his conviction.

The person must have been convicted of the underage offense when he was 18 years of age or older.

The petitioner must petition the court of common pleas in the county in which he received the underage drinking citation.

The petitioner must have satisfied all the conditions required for his underage drinking conviction.
