Many theft crimes in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania can be found in the statutes located in Chapter 41 of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Crimes Code. A person commits an offense such as this if they take part in, or knowingly continue in proceedings where property was destroyed, removed, concealed, encumbered, transferred, or dealt with in any manner that in an attempt to obstruct the claim of any creditor. As explained in this statute, a creditor is the person that is owed the property or money.
